Q: would you recommend the best friends set or memory studio for 6 year old?

Unfortunately I have not opened it yet because it's a Xmas gift for my 5 year old but when she saw this she was excited and wanted it! I would think your 6 year old would like it too.

Q: My daughter likes picture lockets. Is this something that would be compatible with putting small pictures inside?

You could probably cut one to fit instead of the background provided.
