Great product, just the wrong size.

Thick works well
They are thick sturdy elbows. I installed with a good amount of Teflon tape and haven’t had any leaks. The threads were in great shape and haven’t had any problems in the ~6 months I’ve used them on my 75 gallon saltwater display tank.

Good quality fitting

Does not fit 1/2” hose
Really nice quality piece, but the 1/2” barb does not fit a 1/2” hose, it is far too big and can barely get up to the first barb.
