I need one almost immediately and that's where Amazon Prime shines. The sharpener appears to be identical to those selling for 1/3 price but takes a month+ to receive. Anyway, it turns out a convenient and useful little jem. It sharpens pruning shear and serrated knives well. Hope it lasts.

1st purchase of this type of product. I bought this for sharpening a serrated bread knife. as a complete novice I was able to figure it out and sharpen the knife. I'm sure I will get better as I use it, but I would recommend over purchasing a new knife.

My father used to have one of these over 10 years ago. Im not sure this is the same brand but on a whim I bought this hoping it had the same results and it does. This little sharpener works amazingly well on small or average sized knives. I havent tried it on something like a standard buck knife or any kind of cooking knife over 5 inches but for normal length 5 inch or less knives, this thing is just amazing. I love to use whetstones and diamond stone sharpeners as well as any tried and tested method for knife sharpening and these just meet every expectation I have. I hope this one lasts me another 10 years but even if it only lasted me 1 or 2 years I would swear by it and say its well worth the cost.

Doesn’t do a complete job of sharpening bread knives. Great idea but poor execution in my humble opinion. I tried it twice and it’s better than not doing anything to a dull bread knife.

Sharpens knives beautifully, even serrated. I much prefer this to a hone. It's small enough to keep right in my knife drawer. I'm sooo happy with it that I've purchased these for family members also.

This Diamond hone feels kinda rough and coarse, but like a fine wine it gets better with age. Really handy little device for when your main sharpening tool isn’t available.

Really nice tool. Retractable- sharpening my old garden pruners worth the price alone. I’d suggest when sharpening you go in one direction-don’t saw back and forth, with the blade angle uppermost and facing away from you.
