The flakes make measurements easy

I was a little confused with the product being called Nori. Nori are processed sheets that are uniform in size. Different subject but I also see many products that label Alaria as Wakame(Undaria pinnatifida) which is untrue.Anyhow, I soaked these in water for 6-7 minutes and treated it as if it were dried wakame. The leaves are thinner but much chewier. The flavor is different from wakame but it a has a pleasant ocean flavor. I have yet to put the soaked leaves into boiling water to make soup. I wonder if the leaves will turn green.

I like this product, it really made my food taste like I wanted it to. It was fresh and don’t have a strong pungent smell.

The product is overly salted. The seaweed itself is probably all right but who can tell for all the salty taste?

I'm pleasantly surprised with these wild Atlantic nori flakes. They are pretty small in size but of good quality and fresh. The seaweed flavor is robust and tasty. They aren't seasoned nor very salty. I add these to ramen and they really add an umami taste to it. These are also great in soups and as topping on rice as well.These come in a resealable, sturdy plastic pouch. They are sourced from the waters of the gulf of Maine and certified organic by MOFGA. They taste fresh and clean. No sand. Mine has an expiration date of 21 months from now. Overall, I'm really pleased with these nori flakes. Good seaweed flavor with an umami taste to it. The price is pretty reasonable for the quality and the amount. Good product.

This seems like good quality and clean seaweed. The texture is soft when rehydrated. I tried it with just salt and water and somehow find the seaweed taste to be too mellow for me. This is in comparison to kombu slices I get from the Asian store. That said, it's just a matter of personal preference. If you prefer a mild neutral taste, then this should work for you.
