Omg!! It's a battery!
So...like...once upon a time...there was a nvidia shield I've had forever....and um...like...the battery totally was acting super lame...like...omg....it wouldn't HD a charge...and the shield was always like...your battery is hella low...so...I was like...youtube...give me a sign....and it totally was like...get this battery and a little t6 screwdriver and you can fix this at home like a superstar...so like...omg...I totally did it...and feel like one of those really cool guys who works in the little booth at the mall and can fix your phone. Yay! BATTERY!! You can do it too. And when you're done go...YAY!!! Or Woo!!! Like 16x World Champion Rick Flair.

very good quality and life
very easy to install, fits prefect in the case. only thing is I had to modify the space that it goes in. but that is nothing that cant be done in a few seconds. but battery itself comes charged and charge last a long time. i will say that it goes about a week on all the time until needs to charge. keep in mind that if you don secure it wit double sided tape it will rattle inside the controller. plug fits snug and secure as well.

This battery is a good replacement for the Nvidia Shield Game Controller
This battery fit my Nvidia Shield Game controller perfectly and brought it back to life. Installing is moderately difficult but this is due to the controller design, not the battery. Special prying tools are required to open the controller for battery installation.

Short battery life
Installed in my shield controller. It has less than a week storage life without being used. Should last much longer. Maybe I got a dud.UPDATEI disconnected the controller from shield and recharged the battery. It is holding a charge just fine. I'm guessing there is an issue with the controller which slowly drains the battery when connected as an accessory to shield. I have changed my rating as a result

Easy to replace but started losing power very quickly
After around a year, the battery needs constant charging.
