It's a great tool, the only thing is that the handle slips up when you hit it so you end up hitting the rubber as well as the metal.

NOT BEEN USE FOR WHAT THEY SHOULD BE USE FOR.USE ON OTHER THING IN THE MOTOR TRADE OK.

Used them to assist in taking down a solid stone wall. Held their own which outlines the quality of product. We'll happy.

A good quality set of bolsters, built from hardened and tempered steel that is built to take a beating and stand up to lots of abuse, i anticipate this set will last me a very long time before requiring a replacement set.The plastic hand guards are a good size and very sturdy providing good protection from missed blows and the handles are large enough ad feel solid to get a good grip on the tool when in use.The blades on this set are considerably longer than my previous set, which i prefer as it seems to give more flexibility in the use of the tools.

Very impressed with this set of bolsters. You get three different types as shown in the picture and they all work very well. The steel is hardened and performed well against brick and mortar, they kept there integrity and are comfortable to use.At first the longer body feels very different and it takes a little getting used to if like mine your older bolsters are all stubby metal ones without any rubberised handles. The extra length makes the target easier to see but not easier to keep the blade end pushed flat to the right depth when taking a layer of mortar rendering off so I did wander and gouge a bit more with these.They are excellent quality all round, the hand guard feels strange and unnecessary at first but quickly becomes normal and gives a little more freedom or at least lets me relax more when I'm watching the cut line instead of the bolster when tapping away.These are coming in at the top quality premium cost level of the market and they easy stand hi p to it in my humble opinion.
