Used, but looks and work like new - Sold by Amazon
A word of caution first since this item seems to be sold by different vendors at different times under the same page, and the advertised price varies substantially. So please note that I bought this 34" monitor as a "used" item from "Amazon.com Services LLC", and not at the price displayed on the page by a different vendor at the time of this review. The monitor came in repackaged, with all accessories and the software disk. It looks new: not even a scratch. It functions flawlessly, and since it's an IPS panel (the business version B88, which is more robust and is covered by a 3 years warranty when bought new) , I am very happy with my purchase. Amazon once again came through with an excellent deal.

Great Monitors for Apple Setup - Photo, Video, Design, Social Media
We utilize these 34inch monitors for video, photo, social media, design and communications. We have over 40 of these monitors in our office to serve this purpose. Coloring is great, and we will continue to purchase LG monitors as they continue to evolve. Great value for a wonderful monitor for Apple workstations (macbook pro and mac pro).

Good monitor for work
I have a nice Dell curved monitor at home that I love, but wanted to get a similar sized one for work. I do a lot of coding, so I like having a large screen to work on and use as a split screen to help speed things along. Being that I want to keep a budget for my office, I did not see the need to spend any more than this.About a month in this monitor has proven to be a good buy. I was not purchasing this to game on, so I was not worried about the refresh rate. As a work monitor is has been really good. The colors are quite good, and the controls work well. I actually prefer the flat screen for coding and graphics work versus the curved monitor. It has been a good monitor for the price. It is not going to compared to my Dell curved monitor, but at half the price I was not expecting it to.Will probably buy a few more for others in my office.

50HZ!!!
Great display image that is hindered by the 50hz refresh rate which is NOT listed. It feels choppy and is unusable for gaming or even 60fps video editing.

This is 50hz native, not 60hz...
Pros:-IPS display is beautiful-very nice price for the size/resolutionCons:-50 HZ MONITOR!!!! **FALSE ADVERTISING** It is not 60hz native as it's advertised. Only 30 and 50hz options available.-screen tearing terrible and tears by simply scrolling through webpages.-definitely unusable for gaming.

Excellent monitor for Mac Users
I’ve had my share of monitors and this is by far the best I’ve had. Color accuracy is spot on, especially when you calibrate it. I used my Spyder 4 pro. I love the wide screen for multitasking split screens as well. Not sure why some reviewers are only getting 50 on refresh rate. My monitor settings clearly says 60 for Mac. They might need a thunderbolt cable maybe?

BLINKING. LIGHT. WONT. STOP.
Set up the monitor in my media edit suite. External power supply was a pain to deal with. All was well, until I decided to put my workstation to sleep, and the blinking started.Blink. Blink. Blink...Try watching a movie in the vicinity of a blinking light. The blinking light cannot be shut off via the settings menu. You have to manually turn off the monitor (which is also a pain in the butt) which defeats the point of putting my workstation to sleep.Terrible design feature. I own 2 other LG tv screens that dont do this (and have built in power supplies)I reached out to LG and the story only gets worse. The customer ‘support’ portal is old, clunky, and didn’t work properly. They wasted weeks of my time trying to tell me the light could be defeated, and when I finally showed them that it couldn’t be defeated they told me I “should have read the manual” and did a complete 180 and said that in fact the light is DESIGNED to blink forever. I then told them tht I was aware of that, my goal was to show them that I, a video professional and loyal LG customer for over 2 decades, wanted them to do a simple software update that was well within their abilities that could at least give someone like me the option of turning this ‘convenient’ feature off. They didn’t even acknowledge or respond to that request.Well I can now safely say that this will be my last LG product, and to advise you to stay away.

My eyes are very grateful
Very good quality. Not as good as the retina display on the macbook, but for a mac mini this monitor works great. I spent a total of $2600 for a combination that is by far much better than an imac with the equivalent memory and speed. No, I do not use it for gaming.
