Naysayers say no more.
Don t listen to the people leaving bad reviews. They don t know what they re talking about. For 60 dollars, there is no other light that even comes close to this in terms of brightness. Yes the battery life could be longer, but what do u expect, it s a giant, blinding searchlight. It s not meant to go on walks with. It s meant to send a beam of light for like a mile to signal someone or to blind a trespasser or to observe a bear on a mountain, all momentarily. For the people that say it s not that bright, try shining it in ur eyes and then say that. I m tired of people writing reviews about things that they know nothing about. Makes me have to do unnecessary research to find out the truth or makes me pass on things that are otherwise useful and or a good value. This light is bright as hell and a great purchase.

Great bright light
This is a wonderful really bright flashlight I live out in the country we have a nine and a half 10-acre Blackwater Mill Pond I can sit on the front porch of my dad's house shine the light out over the pond and it almost makes it look like it's daylight out there you can see everything out in the pond and its pitch black outside I would definitely suggest anyone to buy this item if they're looking for a real bright flashlight it is big it is bulky the battery does not last a very long time but if you keep it charged it will keep a charge for a while not being used but this is a very powerful flashlight so you cannot expect the battery to stay charged 4 hours on end if you are constantly using it

TOTAL GIGANTIC JUNK!!!! Save your Money!!
I bought this to light up my back yard for predators as I live in the woods and have a small dog. I figured at "18 Million Candlepower" it would be kind of bulky, but powerful enough to blast light across my yard. That is NOT the case...Pro: It's Green?Cons: (Buckle Up) It's GIGANTIC!! It's as big as the air compressor in my truck, and the light output is a joke! In my photos I hold my pocket flashlight next to it, and that flashlight (being as small as it is) literally blasts this monstrosity out of the water! It looks like a Tonka toy you'd give a giant child, but the light heats up really fast, so you wouldn't want to leave it on for a prolonged timeframe.I requested a return, but you can't send it back due to the lithium battery, luckily Amazon took care of me, and I got a refund anyway... This thing is a waste, and now I'll just throw it away, because I wouldn't gift this giant junk to anyone I actually like..The short and Dim of this... DON'T BUY THIS!!! Save your money, and get a good Flashlight or Spotlight.

Bright! An excellent tight narrow beam with long distance!
It is very bright! The range is about 1 mile, with a very tight narrow beam. The AC charger works, and after 10 hours of charging, the light lasted 16 or 17 minutes before I noticed it was getting dim. This was on high. I expected this with a light of this brightness with a battery that small. The directions say to charge for 14 to 16 hours. I will be putting a connector on it to provide external power when I need or want it, along with a digital volt meter. The lens is a flat piece of glass, and is large enough that it might be a bit fragile if the spotlight is handled poorly. The reflector is a polished metal parabolic dish. I'm sure the metal that is used is the cheapest item possible, but the results are very good. The plastic body is thick enough to do the job, but is not extra. That is good, because it keeps the weight down. The two plastic legs are also just enough to do the job, but not more. The lens and housing around the reflector are surrounded by a heavy rubber cover, which is nice. The body has two loops for a shoulder strap, which is included. The strap is a bit narrow, so it will probably not be comfortable for long. Overall, with the inclusion of an external power supply connector and a voltmeter, I think I've got something good here. Do not expect anything extraordinary out of the battery life, you're running a car headlight off of a battery that weighs less than 10 lbs. A car battery weighs 60 or 70 lbs.

Wow what a light
It would be nice if the battery lasted longer but that much light has to burn it up. The range is hard to imagine and its worth every cent.

Bulky but decently bright
Works but not as ultra bright as you might would expect. Run time is limited. Overall it's a good product but for it's size and bulk there are better, brighter options.

Very bright for a long distance
I bought this for my husbands birthday as something to take on our boat when we go out at night. It's way bigger than I thought it was going to be so I laughed at it as did everyone else the first time you see it because it's huge. It's not too heavy but I'm going to have to strap it to the boat because I expected handheld. The light is so bright when pointed at a tree on the next street over it was like daylight. Then our son pointed it straight up and it looked like we were advertising a sale. Yep, it's a bright one. I don't know how long the battery lasts yet. And I see it's not waterproof so not sure how the boat thing will work out yet.

Spotlight and Brightness
This is not a spotlight, more of a big flashlight. Has good brightness but has absolutely no spotlight effect, CAN’T see for long distances (2000 ft) like another brand I previously had. Can see good at probably 350 ft but after that the light is so dispersed you really can’t see detail that well. Would NOT buy again, I don’t say this very often but it was really a waste of money for expecting a spotlight as in the description, especially for the price. Looks to be very durable but a little awkward to hold as the lens is huge. Battery life seems ok but really haven’t used it enough to say, so I gave it a generous favorable rating. Disappointed with this product, other brands have true spotlight but I spent my money on this and will have to live with it.
