You will regret buying these
I bought these as my first pair of designated mountain bike shorts. Looking at the picture in the advertisement, they looked super durable and tough so I bought them. After first inspection I realized they were a lot like the parachute pants ( but lesser quality) I had in middle school and were not like the picture in the advertisement, but I decided to give them a try. They fit well and the inserts were padded fairly well. I had worn these a total of 6 times on 10-15 mile bike rides and they began to tear apart at the seams and in the middle of the fabric. Both the liners and shorts are falling apart in a shockingly short amount of time. I am the type of guy that gives used clothing to the Mens shelter because they typically last me so long that I get bored with them, but not these shorts. These are so bad that they would make a cheep Chinese clothing company blush. I was going to have my Mom sew them up to try and reinforce the seams but the material is separating in the middle of the material so I think the garbage can is the best place for these shorts. Waste of money, shame on the company, after so many people have given feedback, they have done nothing to fix the problem or better their product. REI has some quality shorts that I am giving a go, they cost me a pretty penny but they are guaranteed to last a reasonable amount of time.

Awesome!
I where size 32 but probably should be size 33 (that's Seinfeld joke)... but seriously, these fit perfectly, they are extremely rugged and durable with plenty of zippered and unzipped (yet secure) pockets. I bought the black pair with the red stripes and they are dope looking. Also, if you're biking through mud, you can tighten the legs via a durable velcro strap so nothing goes up your shorts. To get a nice pair of MTB shorts WITH a really nice paid of padded underwear for this price is just ridiculous. I love them and highly recommend it.

Good Buy
Great shorts for Mtn Bike. I agree with others order a size smaller than the chart. They are a little long if you are standing but riding a bike is perfect. Front pocket is big enoght for phone or wallet but a little small for hand. Good shorts definitely worth the price. Good buy compared to others. Would buy again.

Slick as parachute pants
When I was a child I really wanted Parachute pants. They were slick, shiny great looking. Now I own a pair in mtn bike format and I'm realizing I was a foolish child. They are durable as heck but you put these things against a bike seat and you are slipping around. When climbing or just getting to the start of trails the seat is a nice comfort but you need a bit of friction. I own 3-4 other pair of cargo biking shorts and this is the first time I felt a bit concerned I could slide out of the seat. These shorts fit a bit large for the description which is apparent in the liner that fit pretty loose on me. The actual shorts have a great elastic band so they felt fine. These boast huge pockets which are excellent. I imagine these will be durable as can be. The straps at the bottom are a but odd but I cinch them and I'm fine. I have not tried these in the rain but imagine they will be solid.

Buy a size up...
The legs are just a bit too long for my liking, but I love the deep pockets and the material. I have two pair and overall I'm very happy with these. Make sure and buy a size larger, or don't breath deep....

You Get What You Pay For
When these shorts arrived I thought I'd be surprised to get one season out of them. They lasted THREE rides! The outer shell got multiple strange fabric runs in them similar to nylons. I can't explain it. I didn't crash in them, nor is there anything sharp in my washer. I'm really disappointed because the liner isn't actually that bad and after the first wash, they fit pretty well. I wish there was a way to contact the seller to see if they'd warranty the item. I don't see a way to contact the seller so I'm giving a one star review. I actually feel swindled by the manufacturer on this purchase.

Great value! Wonderful Shorts!
I've ridden with these shorts about 4 times now and they are my go to shorts (sorry Fox you stuff is too fragile). The highlights for me was finding a pair of shorts with a belt loop; I like having a belt on riding shorts so my ass isn't hanging out all the time (you know who you are). They also have plenty of pockets (with zippers) to keep your stuff secure. The 2 front pockets are ultra deep which mean nothing's slipping out. There are two velcro straps on the legs if you need to cinch them down for some reason (I haven't found a reason yet). I bought the option with the included liner... It's good enough for my purposes (12-15 mile mountain bike rides). I'm planning on getting a second pair.

CAUTION: NOT SO SECURE -- Weak seams easily tear in Zippered Mesh Pockets - LOST ATM card, $CASH
I *loved* these shorts... UNTIL I started to LOSE anything I put in the zippered pockets! The last thing I lost was my ATM card provoking me to write a review of WARNING/CAUTION regarding these shorts. The seams of the MESH pockets along both zippered pockets STARTED TO TEAR (see pictures).I presume this is because MESH material (holes in it) doesn't sew very well and is not strong.I would unzip the pocket, and put my iPhone7+ in there .... and it would FALL STRAIGHT through my shorts TO THE GROUND.People behind me would see cash, keys, etc... FALL RIGHT OUT OF MY SHORTS!I've only had these shorts for 6 months (bought in April 2017). I don't abuse them (heavy exercise, over-washing, stretching, biking).I actually REALLY REALLY like them and the fact that the ZIPPERED pockets make me feel safe that I WON'T LOSE important things while walking, running , and especially biking (which I haven't done much lately). So anyone owning or buying this should BE AWARE of potential tearing of the pocket lining.REPAIR IS POSSIBLE: I had a seamstress (my mom ;) sew the pockets back onto the lining of the zipper so I could wear these again.
