Spearit sells only the highest quality natural rubber latex tubing. This tubing is manufactured in the U.S.A. by Kent Elastomer using the dip method. Dip manufactured natural rubber tubing has elastic qualities superior to extruded tubing or tubing made from other synthetic elastomers. One of the consequences of dip manufacturing is that the tubing is sold in random lengths by the manufacturer. We receive the bulk tubing and immediately sort it by length and package it in sealed opaque plastic bags to preserve freshness. Then we ship it to warehouses where our inventories are kept small and replenished as often as weekly. This is important because natural rubber is a perishable product for which proper storage and age matter. This is the same material used in healthcare and laboratories where it is more commonly referred to as surgical tubing. It is also the preferred material for resistance exercise, sling shot bands and model glider catapults because of its unbeatable elastic properties. Natural rubber tubing is perfect for these and thousands of other applications and Spearit provides the highest quality and freshest rubber available.

Makes GREAT Tobacco Pipe Bit Covers
I cut off 1.5 inch lengths and used it to put over the stems of my many various pipes. It seems to be working very well so far. I like it better than the normal pipe bit rubbers that i have bought in the past. It is a much less expensive way to accomplish the job but in a more satisfactory way. The best black rubber bit covers will dry out and split over time. I doubt these will dry out any where as quickly. They give a softer but firm bite, too.

Fast delivery, good quality.
I've bought it to use in cold water downstream line from chemical cooler. Works good. To my surprise, I ve used a short part of it to connect different diameters in vacuum pipe line. It holds without collapsing. Cool...

Can't do without it - for my water gardens!
It is what it is: latex tubing. May have medical applications, but I use it for aquarium/pond fountain. Attached to a water pump, it works to deliver water to my tomato and pepper plants. Also works well with my water garden sprinkler heads.

Essential for oversized slingshot
Used it to make a water-balloon launcher for a kids birthday party. It got used and abused, and still holding up. Durable tubing.

didn't work well for my purpose....
I use this type product for by bows as in viola. It's not very grippy and soonoxydizes when it becomes even slippery. My cellist gave me the clear stuff....very grippy.

Great for a three man sling shot
I wanted to have some fun with my kids so I bought a bunch of this tubing to make a giant sling shot. Oh yeah, it is awesome! Two kids hold the ends of the tubing while one kid pulls from the middle of the tubing where I tied on a pouch. Then the middle kid pulls the tubing as far back as he can then launches apples, oranges, water balloons- whatever - into the great blue yonder. Oh yeah. It’s fun!

Great for fixing a split rifle stock
This is the primary tool I use to fix cracked rifle stocks. I use Brownell's Acra Glass as the adhesive, with or without coloring agents. This tubing works like a charm to pull a split stock together. Slather it with Carnauba wax it so it won't stick to your stock fixing adhesive.Practice tying it off before you commit your adhesive?Having the stock in a vice surely does help.Make sure that the wood gets placed where you want it when you cinch this tubing down, before you apply the adhesive. There is lots more to repairing a stock than I can put into this missive.Look for "pcmacd" on various sites to find the details.
