Decent in a Pinch, but Not a Restaurant-Style Replacement
I picked up Marukome Organic Miso Soup Tofu Green Onion because my favorite, Edward & Sons Miso-Cup Japanese Restaurant Style, was out of stock. Unfortunately, this one didn’t quite measure up. The powdered miso lacks the depth of paste-based versions, and the flavor is a bit watery and underwhelming. Plus, there are way too many green onions, which throws off the balance. It’s not terrible - I can eat it - but it’s definitely not the best and nowhere near restaurant-quality. If you need something quick, it works, but I’ll be switching back to my favorite as soon as I can.

Price has gone way up, will no longer order although I enjoy it
Like the last reviewer, I too enjoyed this 'instant' Miso soup ... and ordered it several times on repeat orders. However, after seeing just how much the price has gone up - I will not be reordering the product. Last time I ordered the product, it was $5.87 ; so yeah -- not paying for that huge leap in price
