Underwater Kinetics C8 eLED (L2) Dive Light

I bought this as a night dive lantern and for wreck penetrations. Has a regular and "bright" toggle on the trigger. The regular beam is absolutely perfect for night diving, the 'bright' is ridiculously bright. :) I put a split ring on the handle so I could easily clip it to my BC.Be careful when assembling that you have the trigger slot lined up properly when putting the lens on (took me a couple attempts), and make sure the springs are facing 'down' before putting batteries in.Only potential downside is weight with batteries installed, so it isn't perfect as a travel torch. Additionally, the weight may alter your trim so be aware how you attach it to your rig.

I'm glad using this light so far, had some doubts about how it's comfortable (it's pretty heavy!), but underwater it's not necessarily.+: Bright, nice grip- weight, price, switch cold be more comfortable

Got it for my husband in Jamaica because he’s a fisherman. And he goes fishing at night. And he said he doesn’t have a problem with it at this moment. He said it’s bright

This is the third generation of this Underwater Kinetic light that I have had, starting way back when they used incandescent bulbs. I thought the fforts generation LED version was good but this one is amazingly powerful. You can use regular batteries or the rechargeable battery, which is even brighter. As always, the built quality is excellent.

Light arrived severely corroded with some kind of grease spread all over the contact point and within the LED lens. I needed it to dive the opening day of lobster season in Hawaii. Due to the bad condition of the light I wasn't able to dive and missed opening day. This was a bad attempt at selling something that didn't even resemble being new.
