Seismic Audio - Pack of Two (2) Black Metal Recessed PA/DJ Speaker Bar Handles

Awesome product! They are perfect for your weekend project or even replacing the crappy plastic handles on your amp or PA system. I bought this product for a 4x10 guitar cab I am building and I love them so much that I am going to replace the plastic handles in my other cab. I thought it was awesome that they have the cut hole dimensions. I cut out the holes while I waited so once they came in the mail I secured them to my cab. Very strong and I am sure they will last the lifetime of my cab. They shipped fast and came wrapped in separate plastic. I will be buying this product for every amp I build!

Well made, very professional looking and feeling. I put them on a Fender Bassman 4x10 amp and they look like they are original. No screws are included, though, so be aware of that. Also, if you cut holes in a cabinet to recess these handles, it will change the sound considerably. I had to "box in" the area around the handles with wood that I cut to size and screwed and glued to the inside of the cabinet, plus I installed fiberglass insulation to dampen the sound inside the cabinet. I am happy again with the sound of the amplifier, and the handles make it easy to transport. If you have a real collector's item speaker cabinet, though, I would recommend that you not cut holes in the sides for this type of handle.

Handles themselves are fine, but they arrived with bent corner on each handle. They were just packaged in a bubble envelope. I was able to bend them back on a bench vise, rather than go through the hassle to return them.

I have a set of old JBL TC series speakers. With minor modification to the opening to set the handles, I was able to use these handles. They are much more comfortable that the originals and appear to be more sturdy. They are a great replacement to the JBL speaker handles.

I am writing this review for all the people (like myself) that are not sure if these handles are actually black. They are in fact BLACK not brown like in the photograph. Maybe no one else thought they looked brown but I did and I was worried. But they are working out great for me!

Drop in replacement well built

I mounted two of these (one per side) of my 220 LBS subwoofer enclosure. Yes it is 220 lbs! (Dual 15" Skar VXF @ 60 lbs each in a 100 lbs labyrinth box). The cut-out I had to make for these to fit as shown in photos was 6.75" x 4.5". My only problem is my 6'3" wing span still isn't long enough to grab both handles so this enclosure must be lifted by two people, ugh. Each requires 10 screws. As I did, make yourself a cardboard template first.
