Q: is this an add on for the three box at that price or just one?

The box is $1.19 so I don’t consider Amazon to be price gouging at all. It’s more expensive at Walmart and at Smith’s - and I checked.

Q: Is this spicy as in hot?

It is not very spicy as in hot peppers. It is very tangy and spicy as in flavorful. When it is too spicy I just have my family add a little margarine or butter to thier plate to temper the heat. It is awesome.

Q: This used to be gluten free. Has that changed? Is it possible that they will offer it gluten free in the future?

Zatarain's Jambalaya is gluten free. Gluten free is labelled on the back panel on this new packaging. ~ Erica

Q: Can I use this to make a jambalaya soup? Maybe just add more water, or probably chicken or vegetable broth?

While we do not offer a recipe, Zatarain's Jambalaya Rice Mix can be used to make jambalaya soup. ~ Erica
