Important to read Directions
I ordered this to replace an old larger wall/landline phone that was not working correctly. Happy to find this because not easy to find this type of phone anymore.At first I thought there was a problem with the receiver/handset not staying in place when installed on the wall. I went back and read many reviews complaining about this issue. So I was going to return it.However this didn’t make sense to me that this would happen especially since phone was an AT&T product. I finally realized that there were instructions in the box and by reading them I learned (with diagrams) that in order for the phone handset to stay in place when used as a wallphone you must reverse the small tab that’s on the base of the phone. This was VERY easily done with using a paper clip as directed. Now all good!
