The most premium laptop I have ever owned
The media could not be loaded. The MSI Summit 13 has to be the single best laptop I have ever had the pleasure of using. That being said, I haven't used THAT many laptops. Despite this, I believe this laptop has been worth every (heavily discounted from original retail) penny. I first was made aware of this laptop while browsing for small, lightweight, 2in1 laptops for grad school. Let me say, that I would not have expected MSI to be the business class laptop I would have chosen, given that I was only familiar with their bulky, battery hogging Apache series of laptops. Let me just say that this is the complete opposite of those "portable" gaming rigs. The thing is SUPER light in my bag (however, the thing is pretty dense for it's size), the battery just doesn't want to die, and it's the perfect size to flip and use as a tablet for extended reading sessions. I'm also impressed from the provided smart pen. Maybe it's just too easy to get me excited, but I think it's so cool that it kinda just clings onto the side of the device and how it's so dang responsive to scribbling things down in the included Microsoft Whiteboard program (or whatever they decided to call it). And that NVMe SSD? Well, just take a look at that video of its boot time from FULL SHUTDOWN!!! Let me make this clear though, I bought this laptop as basically new-old-stock. The model I purchased was released like 2 Intel CPU generations before. To my knowledge MSI is about to release what is the equivalent of it's 3 generation of this laptop later this year! With it's age I got a discounted price from it's brain melting $1,600 to about $850 for the original i7 model. This price definitely makes this review biased, as the original MSRP is nowhere near what I would pay for this thing (maybe ANY laptop). If you can get any of these models for less than $1,000 I'd heavily recommend picking one up if you're looking for that perfect value business laptop. HOWEVER! Based on other's reviews, don't buy this thing if you're trying to game on it. The thing is going to get hotter and louder than it really needs to be, so skip this or save the on-the-go gaming for a Switch or Valve Steam Deck.

bought for internet and lite office work
MSI Summit E13 Flip EVO Professional Laptop: 13" IPS-Level Touch Screen, Intel core i7-1185G7, Iris Xe,Fast, but this is not a gaming laptop. Works well for office apps and internet. MSI makes some quality computers - You go Taiwan! I bought this computer on Amazon Prime Day(s) for a steal.I recommend this computer if you want a light powerhouse for office type work. This laptop is obviously made for the person on the go, so there may be some slight compromises with the keyboard. Just to let you know I hate trackpads, and use a logitech trackball. All the laptops I use I use with a fan tray, which serves to keep my lap cooler and to reduce the heat to the computer, which can slow the computer, reduce the life of the battery, and feel uncomfortable.

Overheats, shuts down, fan issues
My laptop has started to overheat, even when in sleep mode to the point of making the laptop inoperable until I can get it cooled off and restarting it OR having to take the back off of it and unscrewing the battery to remove/replace it. If I could, I would send this back and get something else, but it started doing this after the return window (of course) and I am now stuck with a computer that feels like a ticking time bomb. Short of shutting down between every single use, I have yet to find a solution. The fan is also extremely noisy at times and makes a clicking sound. I haven't really used the tablet function yet, so I can't speak to that. Fingerprint reader is hit and miss. Overall, I'd find something else if given the chance.

Fast and much needed 32GB RAM.
I bought a Asus flip 13 with 16GB RAM as I needed a 2in1 for workflow and noway will I buy a Dell as that is the only 32GB version I found, until this got released. Well needless to say they ASUS with its 16GB fell short. Keep in mind the ASUS monitor OLED is much better than this MSI one. But I did real real tests with both as now I am stuck with the ASUS as I couldn't return it, but everything on the MSI is faster. apps load about 30% faster. Photoshop task are much faster for example I loaded a 5GB file to edit for a vehicle wrap. on load the MSI was over 3 minutes faster, I scaled the file from 150dpi to 600 DPI and the MSI did very well even compared to my much faster desktop and the ASUS due to the RAM could not perform the task. If you are a professional this is the machine to get. I am very surprised by its performance for the size. It's super light, plenty fast for single threaded operations and with the extra RAM can actually get work done.Major issue though. The wifi is this unit sucks. I had to move the router into the room to get a good signal. the ASUS signal can reach literally 5 times farther. I don't know why but if you are not close to you router you will struggleIt runs hotter than the ASUS but also is faster so I assume the throttling is less on the MSI than ASUS as they have the same specs minus the RAMKeep in mind this is only day 1 so if things change I will update my review.

The perfect size for travel
This laptop is the perfect size for traveling. It is light weight, small and powerful and packed with features. I'm very happy that I chose the white color for this laptop because it makes it easy to standout! No one is going to accidentally mistake your laptop with theirs. I've only had it one day and I'm loading it up with photo editing software. That 32 gigabytes of ram keeps it all flowing very fast and responsive. And with a tera-byte hard drive, I don't believe there will be any issue with storing my vacation photos and videos.

Awesome latop: It was a steal for me.
I really liked this flip 2 in 1 laptop, but I knew I bought it used. However, it was not blanked before I received it. Checked? I had to wipe out the previous owner before I could use it or even log in. It is my fastest computer and I still like it-- I can do so much more and more quickly.

Very hoy, very loud after months
Hi,It started off good as all new purchases do, then suddenly there were errors in the system, the screen would freeze. Then, it is extremely hot to work on your lap, it definetly needs more refinement.
