The media could not be loaded. My dog has been in renal failure and been doing rapid infusion therapy to bring his BUN, Ph, Creatine, and Mg down. If someone is just doing some sub-q at home therapy for a few days the cost I'm sure does not warrant the cost. But, I have been at this for two weeks and there is a good chance my little guy will need infusion therapy daily for the rest of his life. Sometimes I do sub-q and when we have to do rapid infusion I place a catheter in him like I have right now. But, he likes to fold his legs up which occludes the drip. Plus, with gravity fed there is not much pressure to push the ringers/saline into him. I pretty much have to sit and hold his leg all night. Ill drift off for a bit but when he jerks I wake up and have to reset the entire line. Now, I can actually get some sleep. One, because it is a pump, it has a bit more pressure than gravity fed. Two, if it does become occluded an alarm sounds. I can fix it and go back to sleep. It's so easy to use. I absolutely love it. And best of all...it just works!

This inexpensive IV pump works well after daily use for several months.

Compré un par de estas bombas de infusión y desgraciadamente solo duraron funcionando 6 meses, ahora ninguna de las 2 funciona y en mi consultorio no están expuestas a duro trabajo, ni ambiente hostil, ahora no recomendaría obtener este equipo

Bombas bastante básicas pero muy funcionales, llegaron rápido

Me encanta la duración de batería y su uso es genial, sencillo y sin complicaciones.Pero el cálculo de líquido aún estoy averiguando porque me da más de 20 ml de margen de error

I have amended my review. We have had this unit for one year. It is used very infrequently. We realized that it will show that it is running when the lines are closed. If you do not pay attention you will have a patient on it and never actually give them any fluids! The alarm should sound immediately when lines are closed!

Comento que no viene con la alarma para oclusión o la misma llega dañada.Al llegar la bomba se reviso para conocer los tonos y ocurrio que no activa la alarma por oclusion se cerró el venoclises por encima de la bomba del suero y nunca sonó la oclusiónSe coloco una pinza abajo y arriba para hacer una verdadera y completa oclusión y tampoco sonó.Y para más sorpresa y preocupación la pantalla marca que el liquido esta pasando, el motor responde muy bien porq se siente y ve que el esta tratando qué pasar el liquido pero no detona la alarma.Como confiar si si pasan los liquido a un paciente sea por infiltración o oclusión ya que puede doblar la pata, la maquina no te va avisar o para colmo sigue contando los líquidos en pantalla como si pasará sin problemas.No la recomiendo para nada.
