Does this mat actually measure at 40 inches long or is it slightly sgirter?

got yesterday; measures 15.5 by 35 inches

Will it stick to tub surface that isnt perfectly smooth? My tub is manufactured with an anti-slip surface but it doesnt work well at all.

I just tried it on my anti-slip bathtub. wetted the bottom but the suction cups just won'st stick at all. i tried using the mat without the suctions working and i almost slipped on the moving mat. so yeah, if your bathtub has any kind of anti-slip bumps or ridges, it just won't stick. do they make a mat that does? anyone?

Is this compfortable to sit down and take a bath.on
