This is my favorite Dove products. With its sleek compact size its perfect to travel with. I am at the age where hormones make me hot i can add some of this to my arms and back of knees, even on my neck! I have sensitive skin and this feels very light with no residue. I often get compliments on how great the smell is. Great product!!

I love the concept behind this Dove deodorant, but the product needs work. It feels too sticky under the arms, the scent isn’t very pleasant, and the holder keeps coming off with the lid. Great idea, just not quite there yet.

I really like the idea of this product. Decreasing waste. However a few comments:1. It definitely is prone to breaking and you need to apply gently and changing the orientation of application does minimize this. Turn it 90deg.2. the product is about the same price or more expensive than the normal Dove deodorant. If they want to make this product sell better then they need to cut materials to also make it cheaper. Otherwise it comes off as just green washing and trying to sell to eco conscious crowd.3. With above in mind, they should decrease the packaging. They could probably fit 3 refills in the space of the two. Or could make the packaging smaller for 2 refills. Why so much paperboard anyway? I don’t think this product is that fragile. Decreasing packaging would save weight, less shipping cost and less waste.4. The paperboard is recyclable but what about the plastic on the refills?

I'm using this as my travel deodorant and this thing is small and compact. Despite it being small, the weight of it is nice and has a luxury feel. It's the small things in life, and this does it for me.

Look, if you ever drop stuff in the morning, then this product is DANGEROUS. I watched this slide of my shelf as I was flushing my toilet and instantly knew it was going to be bad. This is small enough to get flushed but not enough to be sent past the S tube in the toilet. So, needles say going green has cost me $600+ for a plumber and a weekend without a restroom and making awkward greetings with the convenience store clerks as I dash past without buying anything to use their restroom. It's a nice thought, but not worth the headache, I can only imagine if I had kids this would have happened much sooner.

Overall really nice product - both holder and replaceable stick. The base was not well polished (would knock it down half a star if I could), but it is all metal. The stick locks in securely and seems to work (smell nice, odor protection, etc). The packaging is paper product but GEEZ it’s a lot. It should be less paper packaging.I’m happy with the purchase so far.

Though I love the idea of a refillable deodorant stick… this is a very poor value. The refill pack is $9.99 for 2 1.13 oz bars. That’s close to double the price for the equivalent regular stick (including all the plastic). Shouldn’t their be a cost savings to less plastic? Not an incredible up charge?
