The Real Thing!
I've read that a lot of fish sauce these days is essentially manufactured glop full of chemicals. This particular variety appears to have been made according to the traditional recipe in SE Asia. One little splash per egg gives you a nice salty umami taste. I've read that they achieve this effect with 1/3 less sodium than table salt requires. Highly recommended, especially for those who WOULD be vegetarians if they didn't have to give up the savory flavors of animal fat.

Expensive "Lite" fish sauce, but a good one
I tried this fish sauce after reading the reviews, thinking that there possibly was another Vietnamese fish sauce out there that I might like more than Suchi Premium 40N. More expensive than the Suchi Premium. For the price, I was a bit underwhelmed. I'm no expert, but I'm thinking this is like a 25-30N fish sauce. The label doesn't say. This also has a higher salt content and is much less of an umami bomb than the Suchi Premium. It is very good, however. It is clean, is "fishier" than Suchi Premium, but it's not an unpleasant fishiness. It's lighter in color than either Suchi or Red Boat 40N. It's good in cooking. Not so good as a finishing sauce or for making a savory dipping sauce. If I were to give my unexpert rating (just a guy who loves fish sauce), I'd rate them as follows: (1) Suchi Premium 40N; (2) Red Boat 40N; and (3) Son fish sauce. Son is also the most expensive per ounce. I didn't like the Red Boat "smoked" or "bourbon" Phamily Reserve 50N's, but they've got a straight 50N Phamily Reserve out now, and I'm definitely buying a few bottles from their website.

This is such a great addition to so many dishes! pasta, pizza, soups, etc, etc. Mild, not fishy, just adds a depth to one's dishes. So glad I found this brand.

It's pricy but worth it
I've been trying sooooo many different types of fish sauce and this is one of the best. You might think its pricy but definitely it worth it. I prefer pay more for better quality and this is it.

I hope it’s still good…
Product arrived leaking. There was a plastic seal around the cap, but there was fish sauce all over the outside of the bottle/package. Hopefully the product is still good. Hard to tell by the smell since fish sauce smells like rotting fish to begin with.
