Great sounding speaker being used around the pool, will get to more!

Ordered these a few years back. They sounded really good but one of the woofers dropped out and there is no way to access the internal wiring (they are completely sealed). I got a couple of seasons out of them and then had them in dry storage for a year while I changed houses. After a year or so they brown paint on the rock starts to chip. I imagine one could repaint them.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I bought these because I'm building a pool and wanted some outdoor speakers for near the pool. I wasn't expecting much because, you know, rock speakers and I've never heard of the brand but reviews were good so decided to give them a try. Pool isn't done so I was just testing them out in the living room with a Lepai 20w amp (LP-2020A+) and a ChromeCast audio. First impression was "Dang, that sounds pretty good." The more I listened the more I was impressed. For the heck of it I had a pair of Bose wall speakers in the garage and brought them in to try. Swapped them out with these rock speakers and unpaused the song that I had playing and was immediately shocked about how "bad" these Bose sounded. Hmm... also have a pair of JBL wall type speakers too so grabbed those and hooked them up and they were even WORSE! Hooked the rock speakers back up and BAM! the crisp clear sound was back. Unreal. So.... I just ordered 2 more pair for other areas. First impression is these are awesome. Now I just hope they hold up in the Florida weather and if so I'll be extremely impressed!

I purchased these speakers based on the reviews I read about them. The sound quality is much better than what I was expecting. crystal clear highs and mids with plenty of bass. I setup the speakers facing each other across our pool thinking I might need another pair to fill my backyard with sound. Nope!! these speakers rock when paired with the 200w Pyle bluetooth receiver also found on Amazon.

I ordered these to replace a 4 year old larger OSD Outdoor Rock speaker that was having some issues. I initially kept one of the older, larger OSD rock speakers and used one of these in my back yard by my pool. The sound quality of this new, smaller speaker is better than the older, larger OSD speaker. The only area where the larger speaker was better was in the bass. Of course, the older speakers have been out in my yard for 4+ years, but I am very impressed with these affordable outdoor speakers. I'll take better care of these by bringing them indoors in the fall so that the snow doesn't sit on them for months - laziness on my part previously.
