I like how thick and sturdy the material and stitching is. I ripped it a small bit by forcing on the last corner, but I love the dark blue color. It really changed our room, in a good way.

have been trying since october to purchase from Ikea . They no longer make covers for ektorp. This product was a bit more costly then Ikea but it really is very nice. Just iron it before putting it on it takes a bit of time but the end result gives a crisp clean look. Make sure you get the cotton product the polyester is slippery and very cheap in feel. the workmanship is fabulous I am very happy with my new grey cover.

This product is great overall. Fits great, is nice and thick material, and looks nice. I wouldn't say it is as "spot friendly" as the original IKEA ones- that's why the 4 stars. Learn from my mistake- Read the drying instructions! It's cotton so it will shrink when heat is applied. I usually wash my covers in cold and dry on low/less dry setting. I popped them in the dryer not thinking and they shrunk on medium heat. The cushions could be squished in the covers but the base cover does not stretch nicely :-) I wetted the base cover down again and tried to stretch it over however the damage was done. My fault, not the company's as they say to air dry. Expensive lesson.

Great color, one you can't get from IKEA. Fits wonderfully. Well made.Washable. Only downside, cat hair sticks to it, but not a huge deal...

The cover was far too small for our ektorp sofa. We had to cut the center along the entire seam to get it to somewhat fit. Very disappointed. We measured and trusted. They tout that these are "replacement" covers for the IKEA sofas and they are certainly not. This was very expensive situation and we are now left with a cut up cover and a cheap looking sofa.

I love the color it fits well...it collects a ton of animal hair so if you have pets be aware you will be vacuuming daily!

I loved this cover until I washed and dried it, and then had the work out of my life getting it back on! It has shrunk. There are gaps between cushions. My hope is with use and a couple of kids jumping around it will stretch out.It washed well. Didn’t loose any color and seems tough.Here what I would tell you before you put this on after washing- limper up! Try some hand and finger exercises first. Be ready to pull and tug like your life depends on it. If you have a friend or spouse, kindly ask for help but be ready for them to be upset later. Maybe offer a drink ahead of time it possible.Once it’s back on, cover it up with something that can withstand anything a puppy,two years old or a sand storm could dish out.You’ll never want to go through that again, really.But other than that they are great!
