I didn't use hot water on it. I soaked the hair in warm water using a mixture of apple cider vinegar and conditioner. Hair was easy to work with. I wore for three weeks and washed it once. Love this hair.

Q: Will shampooing the locs damage them due to the fact that the hair is synthetic?

I have shampooed the locs b4 installing. What "I" did was put Apple cider vingar in a pail w water and "Dip" the hair at least 4 times( never rubbing) in the water. Then pouring out water , adding new water in the pail, adding your shampoo to it. Follow the Dipping method until the scent of acv is gone. I used leave conditioner, and let air dry. "My" locs seemed to "NOT" be disturbed, but on the safe side, I would do a test strand b4 shampooing all of the locs.

Q: What is the difference between OT & T?

OT looks like the whole loc is colored. And T has black roots with color.

Q: Does it come with the design in hair like jewelry or different color dtring going through braid

It comes with a crochet needle and 4 pieces of jewelry, no string
