I wasn’t sure why you’d need to put a mask on a horse fly. But I thought it would be fun to try. Catching the horse flies is difficult. But once you do the mask is always too big.I’ll keep trying.

Love these fly masks! Bought 3. Two for my horses and one for my BLM donkey. Fits them great, flys can’t sneak in, darting on eyes leave lots of room so there’s no rubbing on their eyes, very durable as my donkey is pretty rough on masks… just love them!

The mask fits well for my Arabs, looks good and best of all keeps the flies out. The main drawback, there is no opening/slot, whatever, for the horse's forelock. You have to flatten the hair down over the front of the forehead which means the longer forelocks will be in the horse's eyes. I modified the mask by having a slot cut and sewn into the area below the ear holes. This should have been done by the manufacturer. There are masks that have this feature by design so I will be buying one of those next time.

I use fly masks all summer and my horses are tough on them. These are definitely above average, I like the fit, I have a horse in every size, they wear well unless a horse just has an itch it can't get scratched. Anyway, I highly recommend.

Fit my German riding pony well without a bunch of gaps. Stays on, and works well. Seems pretty durable.
