Confession I did not buy this cause I wanted a fishing pole travel case.I needed a travel case for my volleyball antennas. Works great for that purpose.Wasn’t as wide as I thought would be & antennas are a VERY tight fit,So not sure how a fishing rod pole would fit. Will definitely need a separate case for a line reel… but for something like my volleyball antennas and the velcro style sleeves they are pretty dang good.Still took away a star cause like previously stated it’s a very tight fit and if lookin for a case for a fishing rod… might want to keep looking. But volleyball antennas or maybe a pool stick… this would be amazing.

The carry bag needs to be a little wider because if not it will mess up the zipper.

I have 3 of these love them especially to store in the back of my car and in shed for winter

This fishing rod tube is actually a soft zip-up case that holds your fishing rod safely and easily, making it easy to carry. You break your rod down and lay it out so the reel actually stays out of the case while two zippers help close it up, securing the rod. I used this several times already and it makes a huge difference in not just transporting your gear, but in moving from spot to spot. The only minor issue I had with mine was about 1 inch of the zipper track on one end came 'off track' but once I zip past that little spot the zipper pulls the teeth together fine and zips up, it's just one small spot at one of the ends that has zipper teeth that don't close so I mentioned it to customer service and they immediate replied and said they would be sending me a replacement---excellent service! I plan on buying one for my friend and one for my daughter. Whether you're a beginner or avid fisherman, this should be a piece of your gear!
