Q: Will these work with pedestals under washer and dryers?

I would find something else... these things don't stay put very well.

Q: What are the additional rubber pieces for?

These are brake pads that you wedge in front of the wheels on the floor for extra anti-movement protection.

Q: can someone explain how the brake pads are installed and used. Don't seem to have instructions?

They sit on the floor, wedged in front of the wheel. There are only two brake pads, so you can only prevent movement forward, say, not forward *and* backward.

Q: Will this work for a stackable full size washer and dryer?

Not sure about weight limit. The problem is getting the rollers in the correct location under the machine. This was not easy with just one machine.
