we have this items for 4 years working 24X7 and they still working, they are passive so no need for power, they small and they fin any place or rack mount 2U, we can not complain, just we wish they have 4 and 8 ports because we bought from another brand the 4 ports and one of the items came bad and we have to used 4 single balunswe recommend this 16 ports balun no matter you will use 5 ports only

Good product and works well to convert cat5 wiring to coax with the BNC connections. Had on port bad out of the box.

I actually like this product alot..Simplifies working with Cat5 & 6 cable.I will incorporate this set up for all of our 16ch bnc installs
