The pair I have do not flop or pop.

Q: Is the toe strap comfortable, or does it rub?

Very comfortable. No the toe strap does not rub. They are fantastic for my case of Plantar Fascia. Recently wore on a cruise and DISNEYWORLD.

Q: Are these shoes washable ?

I haven't washed any of my shoes as this is the ONLY shoe I've found for my plantar facistics?facilities?. I will take a shower in them instead of my shower shoes, when they get dirty.

Q: i usually wear a 7 1/2 wide i have small feet but a little wide is an 8 better for me ?

I have a narrow foot and these are uncomfortable for me. My foot is not wide enough. I wear 7 1-2 narrow but ordered 7 and length wise they work. I will be donating mine.
