Second one I've bought!
I got this for my toddler for a birthday gift and quickly went to buy another! It's great! It was a fairly easy install; I do recommend getting a drill and not trying to do it all by hand. I did also choose to staple the bottom mat that holds the sand in place. The package has small tack nails for this and I thought staples in addition to these would hold better over time. But I love that the top closes and folds out into chairs and the canopy top can be lowered to keep out prying animals or for weather purposes. After built it has a sturdy frame.

Canopy fabric is a joke !
The wood part is great but the canopy is beyond junk in one season.

it's so cute
my 19 month old and my other 7 kids love love love this and it's so cute. the instructions were not so good and did not explain things to well so it was a guessing game on alot of it but common sense of you got that you won't have a problem and it took about 7 bags of sand and could use little more but i have a pool with sand around it as well so it don't look so off

My little O
Bought this to get my grandson out of house and into the yard. He is 18months. He loves it and if we let him he will spend the entire day playing in the sand. Now he is learning to use the sand molds and all that. The canopy keeps him safe from the sun. And the little benches are awesome

Not meant for longevity
Update: after a month I can say I would NEVER buy this item again. It has literally almost fallen apart and my grandbaby has only been in it a few times. The top does not stay screwed tight so will randomly slide down, even when someone is inside of it. I weatherproof it and even with doing that the wood is splintering and the seat has came off one side. This was a total waste of money and I now need to find another sandbox.I purchased this sandbox prior to doing some research so I take some responsibility on a not so great purchase. Right out of the box you can feel how dry and brittle the wood feels (so brittle as one pice snapped in my hand with very mininal effort - this was fixed with wood glue and screwed down in place later) I knew it was not weather treated so I went to look at reviews which led me to the store to buy a waterproofing stain. Considering certain pieces are already assembled it is very hard to get in-between to make sure all got coated well. Once assembled it felt very flimsy and still only took one person to move to its location fully assembled. The liner for the bottom and the tarp for the top are made of the same material and I feel is ok but will not hold up to weather for long.So in the end I would have sent this product back but I was in a time crunch so kept it, I do not feel it will last long out in the weather, and the materials are just not great.

Bought this for my Twin Grandbabies 4th birthday.
The parents suggested a sandbox as a gift for the grandbabies 4th birthday. I saw this one and was impressed with the functionality. It has a canopy to protect the kids from the sun, and the canopy can be raised, tilted and lowered as needed, and it covers the sandbox keeping unwanted critters out. My son said it was very easy to assemble and it withstood 15 youngsters playing in it during the birthday celebration.

Sandbox
Bought this for my great grand babies 2nd birthday. Started putting it together and the instructions weren't very clear we really struggled with it but the worst part was the boards were cut unevenly. They were warped and so thin that when the screws went in the boards cracked. We have several that had some pretty large cracks in them. The bottom didn't have enough tacks to hold the sides up good and there was pine sap all over the top. Made it look nasty. It was very disappointing. Especially for the price we paid. There was also sap on several boards. They had to be cleaned to keep the baby from getting it all over him.

Some problems
Beautifully built sandbox! Except hinges were put on wrong so had to remove them and do them over! Very frustrating
