Sony BCQZ1 Z-Series Battery Charger, Black

I recently got the Sony BCQZ1 Z-Series Battery Charger in Black, and I couldn't be happier with it. The charging speed is impressive, getting my batteries ready to go in no time, which is a huge plus for my busy schedule.I really appreciate that this charger is an original Sony product. I've heard that using third-party chargers can sometimes shorten battery life, so it's reassuring to have something designed specifically for my batteries.Yes, it's on the pricier side, but you really do pay for the quality and peace of mind. It's a solid investment for anyone who values reliability and efficiency in their charging gear.

I wish this was a little bit cheaper but it is an amazing product! It was the right size. The battery life is great and charges pretty quickly. Overall it was a great value buy.

I was making do all last year just charging in the camera. That works fine and is actually quite handy so long as you're not in a hurry.This charger is a little bit nicer than the chargers they used to include for free. It uses a power cord which is handy to prevent congestion on a power strip. It also has a 3-segment readout which will tell you at a glance roughly how full your battery is. That is definitely an improvement over the simpler charge/full indicators on the basic units. Not necessarily an $88 improvement, hence my low score for value.What I'm really paying for is reliability. After having aftermarket chargers crap out and aftermarket batteries physically swell up, I decided to pay the premium and stick with genuine OEM for my camera power needs. If this charger does its job for the life of my cameras with no issues (the way the old free ones did) I will get over the sticker shock.Speed is another plus worth mentioning. Approximately 2 1/2 hours from empty - that's faster than I can exhaust a fresh second battery.

I had an off-brand charger that would never charge my batteries to 100%, no matter how long I left them plugged in. This was definitely worth the investment!!! I wish I would have gotten one sooner. The power cable is long, but otherwise the charger is compact.

You have to own one of these it saves you a lot of time. At first I told myself I would I would be fine charging my A7C through the USB cable and yeah it was ok. I started to get annoyed because it would take a very long time to charge through USB and I had to be careful where I charged it since I had to have the whole camera connected. So I decided to get this battery charger specially since I was going to be traveling and it was a well worth it purchase. Charges really fast way faster than USB and I can just remove the battery and connect it to the adapted and not worry about someone knocking my camera down while getting charge. It is 100% worth thr price. Also be careful buying am off brand charger it can mess up your battery

I use Sony cameras in a professional capacity and prefer to only use original Sony batteries after bad experiences with trying cheaper third party options. For that same reason I also prefer to only use original Sony chargers for those batteries to help protect that investment. Because of the number of batteries that I use and need to charge, this charger is now the fourth that I have in my kit to be able to charge a lot of batteries quickly. I have never had one of these chargers fail or damage a battery, so I know that I can always rely on their performance and durability. However, after saying all of that, there is no getting around the fact that this charger is very over priced for what you get and compared to third party charger prices. The price is the only reason I deducted one star from this review because it cannot be considered a good value. Despite that, if you need a great quality and highly reliable charger for NP-FZ100 batteries, particularly for heavy use then this is the one to get.

Great for the pro. Charges way faster than USB to camera. I have two batteries that I cycle through and this charger makes managing that safer and easier. Charging in camera sucks and adds unnecessary risk to damaging my lens and body. That’s reserved for emergencies only now. Price is a little crazy for a single battery charger though. Would love to see a dual battery charging version.
