Q: At what age would you say this bed can cater up to?

Our 3.5 yr old is still comfortable in it. She's quite tall. Quality mattress helps. We'll probably change her bed before she goes to school as I think by then she will have out grown it. Hope this helps.

It depends on how fast she grows. My daughter is 3.5 years and still had plenty of room left. It is such a lovely bed and my little one enjoys it so much.

Q: How much weight it can tolerate

It's really surprisingly sturdy. Can hold me and my daughter. Quite often three kids sitting on it. Very easy to build. I was concerned it wouldn't be strong but no concerns
