Looks good and is easy to clean
The lid is actual wood, which was surprising.Good quality overall, and keeps the ugly discarded coffee pucks out of sight. You'll want to make sure you empty it and clean it frequently, as with the lid it will make it easier for mold to grow on the pucks if they start accumulating.

Looks great, but poor quality
The bar on this knock box is metal covered in rubber. This rubber sheath deteriorated and started coming apart a little over a month after purchase. It is still usable but I am concerned that my portafilter is going to get damaged banging it on what is a bar metal rod. It is not a replaceable part. I would not buy this again!

Not a good value
Looks ok. Lid does not stay in place. Seems sturdy enough but time will tell. It is difficult to understand why this item is priced at $55.00. The plastic is super cheap and somewhat flimsy.

Feels cheap and it’s small
Not large enough for regular espresso use. Also not really appropriate for 58 mm portafilter. Says it’s steel but feels like plastic. Not worth high price!

Good for home baristas who like clean counters.
This is not for wannabe commercial baristas thwacking around heavy filter baskets for style and flair. But for those tired of making messes by their machine, it’s a good and attractive option.Base is durable plastic. Bar stays seated. Opening is a little narrow, but shaped perfectly to capture the puck and doesn’t slide around. I’ve not had a mishap yet—in fact the whole thing works seamlessly. I usually remove the filter from the filter basket and tap out the disk on the bar, but it works both ways.Overall, sturdier than I thought it would be. Holds a week’s worth if you’re making two a day. No molding due to air flow. Easy to keep the outside clean. But, actually, I’m pleased. It’s covered, minimizes the mess, looks nice, and does what I bought it to do. So unless you have a woodworker around to make a lid for your puck bucket, it’s not a bad choice.

This knock box is dope
This knock box is dope. It does exactly what you want it to do, nothing more, while looking sexy and cool. I love the added aspect of the lid - i can have 3+ days of pucks, totaling 6+ pucks or more, and not even see them because of the lid. The body is plastic, which proves durable and easy to clean. It's sturdy, easy to clean, and worth the price imo.

Cheap and small - DO NOT PURCHASE
The media could not be loaded. I literally just unpackaged this after receiving it a moment ago. The knock box has no weight to it, feels cheap and dinky. The lid wobbles and feels cheap as well. The biggest negative that I have is that the size does not accommodate a Portafilter, which is crazy because that’s the main purpose of this product.
