moist and fabulous flavor

Usually buy this stuff at the store but can be expensive. It has a distinct and intense flavor that isn't for everyone, it definitely tastes exactly like chili lime. The pieces can be inconsistently soft or tough (but I find that with most jerky). The soft pieces are very soft so that makes up for the tough ones (I have a hard time with tough jerky, crappy teeth but I'm addicted to dried meat!) It can be a little spicy, so if you don't like heat, don't waste your money. I'd say it's about as spicy as Tobasco (not the same flavor, just the heat intensity).I've ordered about 5 or 6 packages over the past few months and so far they've all been 'fresh', no mold and well sealed, same as the store. Amazon has a great return or refund (usually just refund on food items) policy, so if you receive a bad batch just get a refund and try again.

i’ve had this that I bought the store and it was so delicious and so tender and this is hard. The flavor is not the same. I don’t understand how they’re so awful.

So the texture is like under cooked thick cut bacon. But the flavor is good. I ended up giving it to my step-son and he liked it
