Q: Does this have filters to project just the northern and southern hemisphere constellations and major stars onto the ceiling?

This galaxy projector light combines stars and colorful nebula clouds, offers 16 Million colors, make the home like in a galaxy or starry sky world. But it doesn't have the constellation, please kindly note. We attached the video for your reference.

Q: Can you have the stars static while the nebula clouds are moving?

No, I sent mine back as I couldn’t hook up the Bluetooth to my phone via the app. On it’s normal settings it’s to fast for a calming effect. Sad as it’s amazing! Would have also preferred white/warm white stars instead of bright green. Hope this helps!

Q: Can the stars stop dimming and brightening

Yes, just some of the scene modes have this stars dimming and brightening, if you don't want this effect, please choose the static modes.
