I love this tool beyond reason. I mean sure, there are all the reasons. It'll hold up forever, it does its job perfectly...and beyond that, it's weight and size are just right, it's engineered with an eye to beauty. Basically, it's one of those tools that makes me want to keep working because I love it so much.In addition to a carpenter I'm an artist and this pencil has pride of place on the living room coffee table, on my sketchbook.

I do house framing and this pencil held up amazingly. Just two days of work I've put this through and it's still completely functional. That might not be impressive at first glance, but two days of work has put more abuse on this pencil than most buyers will see in the entire lifespan of the product. I've gotten this thing dirty & soaked and the mechanism that holds and releases grip on the graphite moves flawlessly. The design is sturdy, you can feel it in your hands. I'll update this review if anything changes, but I have confidence I won't have to. You'd have to really try to break this thing.

Extremely well made. A lot more money the the Fastcap Fatboy pencil, but is much more rugged. It also hold 5.5mm lead.

This is without a doubt the most durable (and expensive) pencil I have ever used, and I use it every day. If anything ever happens to it, I'll be out buying a replacement for it immediately!

The pencil itself is probably the most robust pencil I’ve ever seen much less used. There’s a noticeable heft to it and I have used it both in the shop and for work,

Love the feel on my hands. Small enough to carry anywhere.

It’s durable the finish just wore off with in a few days of use.
