I’m still crying….
“But what if I’m too broken, Miles? What if I can never be fixed?” He stared at me. “We’re all a little broken somehow. All we can hope to find in this life is that person who gathers and protects all of our broken pieces until we’re ready to heal.”Please just leave me here to cry for the next month. Beautiful read! This book was a slow burn, but my god, it took me for a ride. I laughed, I cried…it was moving.

A lovely read but ends too soon…
I’m really enjoying this book and might have given it 5 stars but really feel it ends too soon. Like this shouldn’t be the end of the book. Fortunately for me I had already decided to buy the second book and have it on hand or I might have actually been annoyed. The characters are relatable and the love story is sweet. It’s more of a mellow read, not very spicy or dramatic, at least not yet although it hints at the potential my guess is it will remain sort of PG. I like a little more substance. Yet here I go diving into the next book with no regrets because the characters and story are solid and I really want to find out where this goes. So far perfectly appropriate for a young reader but with completely adult characters.

Sweet romance 😍
This is my first book by the author. She wrote in a way that felt like I was watching a movie. Her writing is just perfect and kept me wanting more. 💜👏👌🫶

The Inn on Harmony Island
First off, cliffhanger warning. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers. This story was good, but I feel like it would have been a better short story. The author repeated information several times throughout the book. The characters were likable, and you could see the setup for future books from secondary characters. There were several chances for the author to tell the reader what exactly happened in the FLCs past that led to her being "broken," and yet it wasn't resolved before the end of the book. So, the author not only introduced a new conflict in the last chapter and left the reader hanging but also left the characters past, both male and female, a mystery. The worst part of all of this is I don't even care enough to purchase book 2.I gave it 3 stars bc maybe there are readers who enjoy this sort of storytelling. If so, the book was well written, and the timeline was well thought out. The subject is interesting enough to keep the reader going.

So Sweet
Very cute. Looking forward to the development of the story between them all. I am hoping there are more twists and turns along the way.

Ends with cliffhanger
I saw this book in an ad on Facebook and it sounded so good so I bought it. It is a book but I was disappointed because it ended with a cliffhanger. I prefer stories that end with a HEA. I didn’t know it wasn’t one of thoseThe story is good and it’s fairly well written, but a warning that is wasn’t a complete story would have been appreciated.

Wont be reading second book
This book presents an intriguing and catchy theme that immediately captures the reader’s attention. The premise is strong, and the story holds promise, making it an engaging read at first. However, while the concept is compelling, the execution falls short in several areas. One of the biggest weaknesses is the characterization. The characters lack depth and detailed descriptions, making it difficult to connect with them or truly understand their motivations. Additionally, the book introduces too many points of view, which can be overwhelming and dilute the impact of the story rather than enrich it.The pacing also feels uneven. The final events are rushed, leaving little room for proper resolution or emotional payoff. The cliffhanger, rather than being a suspenseful hook, appears abruptly in the middle of a paragraph, catching the reader off guard—not in a thrilling way, but in a confusing one. It felt as though I was about to turn the page for more, only to realize that the book had suddenly ended.Overall, while the book has a great concept, the lack of character depth, excessive perspectives, and a jarring ending prevent it from being truly satisfying. It’s an entertaining read, but it could have been much stronger with more careful storytelling, even though I am curious about what is going to happen next, I won’t be reading the second book.
