These work great. Can be made better with a redress of the countersink cutter teeth.
I've purchased this product many times. They are not top quality but for general use they work great. The drill bits are replaceable and the depth is adjustable with the supplied allen wrench. When the countersink teeth get dull I carefully sharpen them with a fine wheel on my bench grinder. I find that after I redress the countersink teeth they cut much cleaner and faster. These are great for jobsite use. They are cheap enough that if I lose one it's not a big deal. I have a much more expensive set I use for furniture building and if I lost one of those I would stop and search until I found it. That's not something I can afford to do on a jobsite. These work very well for my intended purpose and highly recommend them. Price vs Quality these are great.

Geart for low cost / good as starter kit
While these are far from being the best set of countersink drill bits I've ever used, for the price of these are a perfectly acceptable starting point. Decent depth adjustment of the bits, and the included bits have a pretty sharp pilot point bit (which managed to give me a decent scrap when someone was handing the tool to me) but not the most resilient and didn't take long to break. The size label of the bits is easily readable, and while that may wear out in time, its easier to read than most stamped identifiers I've seen on other sets. The design of the counter sink portion is a bit weird. Not quite a pure 82 degree angle, but not a tapered bit countersink set either. Its not a flaw, but it is something to be mindful of, especially if you're using it with thinner ply

Not perfect, but close
I have recently gotten into making outdoor furniture, and find myself countersinking screws and what not. Well I had a set of BD countersink/ pilot hole bits and they work pretty good except they are the round shaft type and I find I have to dedicate a drill for them. I got these as a quick change solution (I have 2 cordless drills, but tend to favor one and use quick change bits in it). They work pretty well except that the drill bits seem long to me and my application (I've drilled completly through a couple pieces by accident). When I move the drill bits further into the housing then the end of the bit sticks out through the quick change shaft (there by rendering the use of a qucik change bit holder inoperable). I also wish the packaging had been a little more durable as there is a lot of helpful info in the package, but it really is not meant to be saved (standard carded packaging). All in all I'm pleased, but these are not the end all be all I had hoped for.

Affordable wood countersinking bit set.
This is a great set for a low price (I paid well under ten dollars per set). The included bits are meant for wood and they work very well. However, you are able to change the bits with the included mini hex wrench which loosens and tightens the bits to hold and release as needed. I find the sizes very good for home projects such as cabinet making and shelf making. Once you master the technique of covering the holes with wood plugs (or hardening putty), you would probably appreciate this set even more - which competes well with the modern pocket hole systems in fit and finish at a fraction of the cost.

Excellent, versatile set at a good price.
I have been wanting these ever since watching Norm use a countersink bit on nearly every episode of New Yankee Workshop. These are a great set and the adjustability makes them versatile as well. I snapped one of the bits (my fault, nothing to do with the quality of the tool) but was able to quickly swap it out with a bit from my toolbox and kept right on countersinking.

Ok but weak.
They work but the bits are weak. They Allen but worked loose twice in about 10 holes and then the bit broke off. Maybe I bent it slightly maybe not. Either way bought some dewalt countersink bits with drill bit and they did 50 holes without breaking.

this item is one of those great rare beauties
this item is one of those great rare beauties!! ( only have to make sure the drill slides out and needs enforcing by Y O U) once you secure the drillto holder wow i mean wow, as example my parents (had) sunken or sagging ceiling with fabric type of tile not sure the exact element howevcerit needed secure back onto the studs behind the ceiling due to exposure water from above bathroom and i used these counterbits to drill to the pointit went maybe 1/8 inch below the fabric tile (which was soft material to begin with ) it did an incredible job countersinking so as to allow the head of the screws i followed after to be under the tile slightly and not protrude big problem SOLVED thanks Milescraft and thanks Amazon!!!! VERY HAPPY!

Great bits. Getting a little dull after 50 holes but still going strong.
Really enjoyed using these bits. I can tell that after some 40-50 holes the bits are getting dull, but I'll continue using them until they break and then it's easy to replace the core bit and keep the counter sink part. The counter sink portion does tend to clog up a bit, but it's easy to clean with the sharp end of a screw.Very happy with the purchase given the price. Not sure it would hold up under professional use on a job site, but for home use in a garage it does a great job.
