A fine piece of kit at a very good price, but it didn't work for my needs
I'll preface this by saying that I'm a total newbie when it comes to laser sights and lights. This was my first ever laser sight, and my second LED. (I own an Olight product for a different pistol.) But this was my first ever laser/light combo. And I confess, I didn't know exactly what to expect. (Buying online for something that fits really well is very challenging.)My second point is that even though I'm returning it, my decision to do so has ZERO to do with the quality of the item. It's well designed and produced, and at a fantastic price. I mean I can't touch most Streamlights, Viridians, etc which are way out of my budget. But a quality product like this for such few dollars: that's cool. I really wanted it to work. I switched it on and off of two pistols in my apartment (though I never took it outside, let alone shot either gun with the product installed -- so I have zero input on functionality in that regard). So why did I return it? Simply put, I realized over a day or three that it's just too big for my use. I bought it for possible use on two different pistols: my Glock 42 (to which I added a picatinny rail by Recover Tactical) and my Taurus G3X. As it turns out, it dwarfs my G42 -- at least in my view. Finding a holster for it would have been problematic at best.It is even a bit large for my G3X. It fits that one better, but even on it, once I adjusted the fit back as far as possible (trying several different positions over a couple of days), there's still 3mm gap between the back of the laser and the trigger guard, so it sticks out in front (past the slide/barrel) by that much, and also hangs several mm below the trigger guard. That would have also made finding a holster for the G3X wearing the Defentac problematic.I think I've realized after this experience -- remember, I'm a newbie, now a novice in training -- that I can have a light on my pistols, or a laser, but not both. In fact, I no longer even want a light on the G42; I'm going to save up and buy a trigger guard mounted laser only. (The one by Armalaser specifically for G42/43, also available on Amazon.). And Armalight lists a TON of holsters that fit the G42 with their laser. Of course, those are going to cost me bucks, but I'll save up. And importantly -- I learned from this experience. And I'm going to buy a much smaller, compact laser for my Taurus G3X, but only as a trainer, not for EDC. And I want to be able to put my Olight on it for camp use at night. (Big critters in the woods where I live.)But to re-iterate, I think for those seeking a laser/light combo at a great price and are willing to deal with the size -- like for a full sized 9mm or larger caliber with more real estate under the slide than my G3X (full sized frame, but compact slide and barrel) -- it's a great deal and worth a try.

Bright and Adjustable!!!!
I bought this for my Springfield XD .45 4" Service and the light is amazing, the laser is bright as well. You get the option to use either one or both together. After reading the adjustment guide it took all of 5 min to sight it in and make it accurate. If you are in the market for a decently priced light/laser go for it. This one comes with everything you would need including a rechargeable battery and cord. It isn't like a lot of the others where they feel bigger than the pistol, it feels just right and with a full magazine it feels very balanced in your hand. It is not a cheaply made item its quality. Defentac has done it this time and I will be putting their equipment on every firearm I have. Oh and dont forget the warranty. If you are on the fence, leap over that thing and buy one, you can thank me later.

Love this pistol laser light combo
This is an excellent little pistol laser light combo. Excellent fit / finish, quality and price point. I put mine on a KelTec Sub2000 just a little forward of a vertical hand grip. Very easy to turn the light and laser on / off.
