Works better than expected
Bought a 2019 GMC Sierra SLT with the 6.2 and 10speed. There were no records of servicing the transmission. This pump was purchased for assisting with the fluid flush. The pump is not too loud and the hoses attach easily. The size makes it easy to work around. I have actually had coworkers use it as well with good results. Seems to be well built and great value for the price!

FIRST, THE GOOD NEWS . . .
First of all, once properly assembled, This pump really sucks ! Oil, that is. No need to jack up and crawl under the car. No need to remove the large, multi-bolted skid pan. No need to clean up spilled oil. That's the good news. Not so good is the flow rate; the description claims .5 quart / minute. So, a 5 quart oil change should take 10 minutes. Nope! More like 20 - 25 minutes; this with warm oil. But, still less time than jacking up the car, etc.And then, there is the elephant in the room: "PROPERLY ASSEMBLED" The kit comes with 6, 8, &10 mm hoses, an adapter to connect the 6 & 8 mm hoses and 2 nipples to screw into the pump body. BOTH NIPPLES ARE THE SAME SIZE, for 10mm hose. There is no way to connect the 8mm suction hose to a 10 mm nipple. Trust me, I tried. What I ended up doing was cutting about 6" off of the 10mm hose, spreading Duco Cement (glue) into the first inch or so at one end and then inserting an inch of the 8mm hose. Once the glue set up, I could attach the 8mm hose to the 10mm nipple. With another small hose clamp. This combination actually worked and performed flawlessly.Could have saved a lot of time and effort if the seller had only included both an 8mm & a 10 mm nipple to start with !!!

Great pump!
I used this pump on several projects and works great so far.I power flushed my power steering system on a Ford F150 with this and it worked fantastic, just removed the return line going to my resivore and the hoses fit perfectly for this and the other hose into a bucket. It came with the hose kit and was a direct fit with the size I needed it for, this pump is surprisingly powerful and I power flushed my power steering system in less than 15 minutes with it. I also used it on my transmission on the F 150 too. I had a leaky bulkhead seal and I used this pump to drain most of the fluid in the transmission pan before removing it. It drained the pan in a matter of minutes which was probably about 5cquarts or so. I installed new o-rings on the bulkhead seal installed a new filter and trans pan gasket and pumped new trans fluid back into the transmission and it worked out great for me. The F150 trucks do not have a dipstick you can actually reach from under the hood like you used to any more,it's located under the vehicle and you can only refill or drain it by removing a cap that screws on and removing a mini dipstick from under the vehicle and worked great for pumping new fluid back into the transmission. So this pump was a great buy for this project and I'm really satisfied by it's performance. This product was well built and a fantastic buy! Noise level was not that bad either,it made some noise and it didn't bother me using it. I mentioned this just in case anyone was wondering about noise levels.

Absolute Junk
Tried using it with a freshly charged battery. This thing could not lift the oil out through the dipstick. It’s so weak that I doubt it could empty a glass of water. I’m also SOL on getting my money back because the window of opportunity for returns has closed.DO NOT BUY.

Pump works Great!
Used pump for transmission fluid change on Chevy Avalanche 5.3L 4x4. The pump was used to transfer new fluid from container to the truck through the dip stick port. I pumped the old fluid out through the transmission fluid return port. As expected the new fluid transfer took longer than pumping the old fluid out, so I turned the truck on / off to ensure the difference was never greater than 3 quarts. All told, the entire transfer took about 20 minutes. I pumped 3 GAL of new transmission fluid in while extracting 3 GAL of old fluid. Only time will tell, but performed great on first use!
