Great radio service now
Work great on our 2018 Jeep Rubicon. Larger antenna than the stock.Works great and now we're able to get better channels living here in the mountains of North Carolina

I love the look of this antenna on my JL. I'm of the [probably unpopular] opinion that the really short/stubby antennas look weird. Also not a fan of branding, faux carbon fiber, colors accents, etc. It was sort of hard to find something that looked "OEM+", and fit the bill of staying under the roof height.A few things:1. It was not easy to thread on by hand. It rubs against the factory plastic housing. I had to use pliers (over a towel) to get it fully threaded on. It ended up working out.2. The antenna itself feels sort of top heavy and wobbles like a hot dog. It feels like a hard hit might break it, but so far I haven't hit anything. If you're a heavy duty off-roader, this may not be resilient enough.

I recently purchased a used 2019 Rubicon that had 8 inch stubby rubber antenna.. I couldn’t receive any Am & could barely get any of my local Fm stations..This antenna is only 21 inches,, still smaller than stock.. I was concerned that it was still short,, but the reception is fantastic on both Am & Fm!!Well worth the money and in my opinion still looks good!!

Like most Rugged Ridge products, it's garbage
Junk, after 15 months and 10k miles. 21" model. The stock antenna lasted 12 years, and I only replaced it because it was looking a bit ragged. The new antenna gave immediately worse reception, and it flaps all over in the breeze.Pictures show: its bend at 70mph, completely tucked under the mirror after 80mph, the metal antenna poking through the plastic cap on top, and the bend at rest.Rugged Ridge makes garbage, junk, landfill fodder. I've never bought anything Rugged Ridge, and later been like "I'm glad I bought this".
