I gave this as a gift, and the person really liked it. It looks even nicer in person. It was put on top of a large shed's cupola. Looks great. Highly recommend.

My new rooster vane definitely exceeded my expectations. The vane functions for wind indicator and the materials and construction are top notch. It is the perfect touch sitting on top of the new coop. I love looking at it every time I step out on to my front porch.

This product is fabulous; more heavy duty that expected, which is great since it is an outside item.Very pretty in the sun too.

The rooster weathervane is very well made, easy to assemble, and the perfect size for my she shed. It is too cold to install here in the frigid northeast so, as of yet, I have no pictures to submit. I will try to send them along once spring arrives and it is mounted on the roof of my garden shed.

I was hesitant to purchase this weathervane,the 18"Manchester Vinyl cupola and 401AL adj. bracket.through the mail, since it is copper and expensive, but they arrived in perfect condition.My contractor installed for me,It looks fantastic on the garage.

The rooster body is soldered, two-part. The tail is single layer. The NESW cross pieces are very roughly ground, which you certainly can't see from the ground, but does not reflect the same level of workmanship as the rooster. I used a 9 inch polishing to polish the cross pieces, but they certainly could have used a finer grinder. This unit only comes with the rod, no other mounting hardware, so consider what you need to mount the vane. I would buy another one.

We live on the beach and when we built our rock wall, we had holes put in the top every 5' for solar lights. This fit right in one of the holes. If you plan on a roof mount for goodness sake buy the mounting kit. One of the things I like is that when the wind stops, it stays in the last wind direction. It has already started to patina in the salt air, can't wait to see it in a couple more months. And if you have ever been to Kauai, you will know why we chose the chicken :) These folks have a number of other choices, I am hoping I can convince my husband to put one of the street side as well.
