Q: Is this the stx hard plastic or the fake leather? and if it is the hard plastic what finish? plain, tactical, gloss?

It's the STX hard plastic. I'm not positive on the finish. I think it's either plain or tactical (definitely not the gloss). Sorry to not be sure on the finish.

Q: Will this fit a sig sauer p226 mk25 magazine?

I think this is too big. Look for a size 4 magazine pouch. This one is size 5.

Q: will this fit beretta mags?

yes I have one with open top you can adjust the mag holder to fit the mags I have a Beretta M9 9mm I have one also that hold 3 mags and straps them in!securely.
