I have been using a wuta creaser for my professional work for just over 3 years now and I have absolutely loved using it. Unfortunately, it has taken a few tumbles off of my workbench which has resulted in a few dings along the creasing tip. I ordered a replacement, thinking it would be the exact same as my currently one. Sadly, Wuta has changed the designed of their creasers, making them more shallow and wider. This change is a bummer because the result is just not the same.Edit: I have been using this creaser for about a month now and I have noticed quite a few things that have won me over. For one, the depth of the creasing curve has been reduced. While this results in a crease that is less pronounced it actually allows the creaser to travel much smoother against the leather. I also don’t slip off the leather as much as I used to when the original design, making way fewer scrapped pieces.This updated design also works sooooooo much better on curves! I am actually able to confidently crease my pocket curves now. Before the very idea made me sweat because the original design just didn’t seem to like anything that wasn’t a straight line.Overall, I definitely recommend this creaser. Yes, the crease isn’t as pronounced of “puffy” as the original but this tool handles sooooo much better and feels so so smooth. This is a must-have on any workbench.I actually even ordered a 2.0mm creaser and when it ended up not being for me Wuta’s customer service handled the issue very quickly and professionally.

Very well make and finished. Ergonomic handles and quality metal finish. Not easy to use on curves but that has nothing to do with the tool. Practice makes perfect. No complaints.

I could not be more happy about the quality of this tool. I tried it out first thing. It should give me a lifetime of enjoyment every time I see the touch of class it adds to my work.

A leather edge creaser should indent and flatten the leather leaving a nice flat uniform edge. This version from Owden actually rounds the edge too much and can leave a lip if too much pressure is applied especially when heated - not exactly the effect I was looking for.

I have a few different creasers but this on is the easiest to use and makes a nice bead/ crease in leather.
