These towers are being powered by a Rockville Power Amplifier (RPA9) - (they could use even more power to be honest), they sound great, the lows, mids and highs are great when dialed in with a mixer. I just added them to my setup and the overall clarity even outdoors is amazing. Not to heavy but built well, price is very decent especially for what you are getting! I haven't opened them up yet but these should be good for several years and they keep sounding better the more break in period they have.Update: If you line these which I did with Siless sound dampening material, you will be so pleased with the sound and dB increase! I wish I did this prior, I also glue the ports and verified that all speakers were soldered. I wont turn back to the expensive brands again. I also put the Goldwood pole mounts in the tops with support below the cutout and no more tripods!

I have been trying to create a concert power sound, and with Rockville's help, I have succeeded. Equipment I can afford, and more than enough power and quality that I can enjoy.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here stating that these speakers are not good. Granted, I understand the ones talking about their speakers arrived damaged. You have to understand these are cheaper speakers so they are made with a cheap MDF wood and can easily be damaged in shipping. If it does arrive damaged, you have a full 1 year warranty and you can grab a new pair of speakers. With that aside, these speakers perform exceptionally for their price with perfect amount of lows and highs and overall great sound. I feel that the people leaving the bad sound quality reviews maybe don't have very good amps or mixers (lacking in power which would lead to bad/low overall sound) to pair with these speakers. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a great pair of LOUD and QUALITY speakers for the price!

These sound fabulous, look great and have super build quality.

I replaced some 15" speakers that were only good for bass. This has a nice full range that can handle some power. A great value.

This is the second item from Rockville that I have ordered and I will have to spend my time to return to be replaced. Our first wedding gig of the yr and the tweeter and horn does not work total disappointment again from Rockville . I recently had to return the amp as well due to not functioning correctly. I think I’m time with with Rockville products is OVER .

I bought speakers for my dj system and they didn’t come with wires to connect them so there no way to test them
