Could not cut this balsa wood with the Brother Scan and cut or a blade. The grain is very obvious making it chip easily.

As expected, 1/16 thick. Easy to cut & sand.

Balsa is a great soft wood for cutting but there are random soft spots that squish and rip rather than cut. Because of its softness it can break easily. Its light weight makes it great for hanging projects.

It is exactly what you would expect thin balsa wood to be. Cuts great on my laser cutter. Makes awesome planes.

Used to sheet my rc plane wing and fuselage , works great!

These thin balsa wood sheets arrived in a bundle, which gave me hope that they would be flat. Upon opening the bundle, they immediately warped into U shapes. I knew balsa wood this thin had a tendency to do this, but I had hoped for pieces a little flatter.Also, at least 4 of the pieces in my package had cracks down them, causing the wood to immediately split. Just make sure you know what you're buying. I ended up going to the local hardware store and picking up pieces of balsa to use instead of these.
