Impressive little guitar
An impressive little guitar that bridges the gap between tenor ukulele and parlour guitar. A sweet tone and fairly good intonation for a tiny 6 string instrument. The best travel sized guitar available on the market for portability and playability alike.

funky little guitar
I bought this as a travel / practise guitar as I don't like taking my Ramirez out of its case unless necessary and the Guitalele is about the cheapest on the market. It's a lot of fun to play and is good for practising whilst watching TV, oh and girls think it's cute. I have now changed the nut for a full size and changed the saddle and cut grooves in it so it's full width there too without changing the action height. I'm going to put a tenor ukelele rosette on it and eventually some black treble strings, cause it does look good. I have temporarily put some D'Addario extra high tension strings on it (leftovers) as the strings it comes with go out of tune really quick. It now sounds better and plays better (ok the strings are a little too wide apart for the neck but I cope), and I do enjoy tinkling on this when not playing my main guitar. I figure it's good for learning all the notes from fifth fret onwards (on full size as this is tuned in A), and it's good for repetitively going through scales, arpeggios and tremolo technique etc... I do play tunes on it too, but personally for me it's better for practise of technique. If you leave the set up as it is, it will tighten up your technique, it makes a full size fretboard look huge so you do begin to realise how much room you actually have to play with. So quite a few good things about it, I'd give it five stars if it sounded better, but for 50 odd quid I'll enjoy it for some time.

Well made,good sound,good fun.
Great little guitar.good sound for its size.but it's not loud so great for practise and play if you live in a flat.cuz however much you love your guitar playing your neighbor's won't be as enthusiastic if they can hear it all night long.tuned mine as a guitar eadgbe and sounds better than the recommended tuning.because the fretboard is only a foot long is great for hand eye coordination. But having said that the frets and strings are alot closer together so more Accurate finger work is needed.i also like the matte finish.very very happy with everything.fast delivery and well packed too.

Surprisingly good sound!
A surprisingly pleasant, mellow tone. The six strings mean that chords are so much more satisfying compared to the ukulele, with at least two deeper sounding strings. This is not a concert instrument, but nor is it a toy. I am using it to practise classical guitar pieces following a repetitive strain injury. It travels well, being small and light. The case may not provide much protection, being soft. There is no strap button/nail on the base of the instrument. Photo shows the size compared to a full-sized guitar.

Quirky little instrument with a pleasant tone.
I like the sound of a ukulele and already own guitars so bought this quirky little instrument for a bit of fun. It’s well made and the tone is pleasant to the ear. It’s small enough to pack for travelling too. Only suitable for smaller hands/slim fingers.

lovely guitalele!
Superb value musical instrument. If you want a guitar that you can't put down buy this. Great for practice and a delightful sound to jam along with your mates, in order for your keys to match a regular tuned guitar will have to sport a capo on the 5th. My only gripe is the frets are too small for my large fingers!

A quality piece of kit for young learners
This is a very good instrument where tonal quality and a forgiving action make it excellent for young learners 5+ but cd also be used as a travelling guitar for practice etc. There is no evident distortion at any fret, harmonics clear, bass tones surprisingly strong. Came with good quality pre stretched strings and a very useful ‘gig’ bag.

Regular size neck. Not so good for small hands.
I bought this with the aim of teaching a seven year old some basic chords. I realised my mistake as soon as I unboxed. It has a regular sized neck and isn't the same as a junior size guitar.Saying that, it's a really good guitarlele. It's well made and has a great sound. We will just have to persevere and do what we can, whilst her hands grow!
