Mercers Furniture Corona Coffee Table Light Fiesta Wax

I'm so delighted with my purchase of the Corona Coffee Table. In fact I am so pleased with it that I hope to buy more pieces of furniture from the Mercer range. The table arrived flat packed and came complete with all the screws and wooden dowels required. You require a Phillips screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver. The flat head screwdriver is only needed for attaching the drawer handle. I would suggest that you also have a bradawl handy to make it easier to screw the screws in place. I had very little trouble making this coffee table and I am disabled in a wheelchair and have severe Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I sat on the floor when I put the table together so if I can do it then almost anyone can I think. The only problem I came up against was hammering in the little metal discs which are only there for decoration. I broke several of them because the placement hole was over a few knots of wood so as I was hammering them in the pin buckled and then snapped. However, as they are for decoration I was not bothered whether I used then or not.This coffee table is good and solid and is really nicely carved. There is no chance of it tipping like all the cheap coffee tables do (I speak from experience). I honestly wish I had waited in the past to save up and buy a real wood coffee table rather than the cheap laminated tables I often purchased. Laminate damages easily and just doesn't last so it's like throwing good money after bad. Now I hope to have this table for many years to come.If you are hesitant in buying this coffee table then don't be. It's certainly worth the money and is a really great deal.

Order process was easy, given a 2 day delivery window and it arrived early (8.30am) on the morning of the first day. All parts were present with some extra screws etc just in case. The instructions for assembly were well laid out and pretty easy to follow. The only mark down is that the wood didn’t have any numbers that I could find as this was how they were identified in the instructions but regardless it was still an easy enough build. I would recommend take your time to begin and just ensure you have the right parts. It will all come together. Build time approx 40 mins although if you aren’t quite as ocd as me you could probably shave a good 10 mins off that time. I would also suggest that when you install the metalwork on the top and legs that you try pushing them in with your thumbs first. I was able to do this rather than potentially damaging the finish trying to hammer it in. As it is pine you will also want to use coasters unless you decide to maybe varnish it.I now have it set up in my living room, it is the perfect addition. It feels sturdy even though pine is so light and I am confident it will last us for years to come.I also purchased a TV unit at the same time. The build and quality was just as good.Will definitely use again.Thank you mercersfurniture!

Was extremely fiddly to put together. The instructions could have been clearer. The top of the table had slightly warped but I suspect this will sort it self out after being in a warm environment for a time. Overall a good looking table, does the job I wanted it for and was reasonably priced.

This is a fantastic piece of furniture and looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. It comes flat pack and my husband easily put it together with the help of a good (but not power) screwdriver in quite a short amount of time. It is a good solid piece of furniture and the reason we know that it is going to last for years, is because this is the second one we have bought. We bought the first one 10 years ago at least and it still has many more years life left in it, but we recently decided to rearrange the lounge and use it as a TV stand. The obvious solution then was to buy an additional coffee table and to find the exact same one on Amazon was like a dream come true. Now, you can tell the difference between the old and the new, but the old one hasnt aged so much that they look silly and non matching. They go together well. The only real care I have given the original one over 10 years is a weekly wipe down with a damp cloth. Here is hoping for another 10 years!

Quick delivery. Packaged and organised well. It took me about an hour to put together by myself. The instructions were simple and easy (good job really 😂) and end product is exactly what I was after. Highly recommended.

Arrived the next day. Easy to read instructions. It took around 30 min to assemble.(using a drill). I used a tiny bit of wood filler to fill the tiny holes that the black tacks go into, as I preferred the look without them, I painted it before I placed the top on, don't worry if the top looks slightly bent it levels off when you screw it to the base.I also changed the knob. I recommend gently sanding the corners of the top as they are very sharp. You can rub a damp teabag or a tiny bit of coffee on your finger into the sanded area to blend it in to the colour of the top.It looks really lovely. Sturdy the draw is wide for all your remotes ect .it's well worth the money.I definitely recommend..( I painted it with cuprinol garden shades olive grove)

So happy with this coffee table,I also have the tv unit in the same range and am planning on getting the matching side board !!I was very shocked at the quality of this table, for the price I wasn’t expecting much so was very surprised to discover it is all solid wood !!!!Very easy to put together , it took my husband 20 mins to put it together , all the parts were there unlike many other flat packs !!! All screws etc are labelled with letters I each of the packets which makes it easy to identify all the parts !!!I was a little concerned when I saw the pictures on amazon as the coffee table looked a lot lighter than the tv unit but they are in fact exactly the same colour,The draw is a lovely addition and plenty of room for pens , tv and games remotes etc, it is well made and slides in and out easily and smoothly !!!!I have nothing bad to say about this table
