Love this product. It keeps my hair nourished and hydrated leaving it feeling soft and silky.

Nice feel so far, no plastic after feel so yes, I am enjoying using this little bottle and my hair is feeling more hydrated for longer. I have super coily 3c/4c hair type

Lovely product but can't squeeze it out of the bottle. Put it in a tub or make the bottle easier to use.

This brought my daughter's hair back to life. She's got type 4c hair but for the first time i was able to detangle her hair without tears. It made her hair soft and smooth, Added alot of moisture, easy to use. This is a must have for afro hairs, i am buying this again, just wish it's cheaper.

Good product great value for the money

This is honestly such a good product. It left my hair feeling soft and smelling amazing! I used this as a prep for my styling and the end result was great.When I read ‘detangling’ I expect a spray bottle and imagine my mum tugging my hair. This thick product was able to provide such great slip and a beautiful base for my curl cream.I loved it!Definitely recommend

Sadly the product isn't what it was even in 2020. The product is now thick and white, almost like liquified vaseline. There is a faint petroleum smell. It doesn't slip into your hair as previously to detangle and is no longer moisturizing. Such a shame as the previous formula was perfect, it was the only product I needed after a wash. Always leave your hair moisturized and soft. I usually purchase enough to last 3 -6 months, which is why I only discovered the formula change now. Sadly the new batch I bought, I will now have to discard as it does the opposite. It dries your hair out. If this new formula was created for a more general market, as online posts have intuited, surely this new formula can't be good for those hair types - as its weighty - but as that's not my hair type, it's not my place to comment.Also, as other reviewers mentioned, no warning on the label that it is a new formula. For avid users, only once you notice the difference in the feel of the product, on closer inspection of the bottle would you recognize the changes in description and removal of previous benefits and claims of being paraben free silicone free etc...it only now says Free Trade.Ahh, well, my fault for the automatic trust, lesson learned, even if a long time user of a product, inspect each time you are buying it, to make sure its the exact product you know and love.Thank you, Shea Moisture, for the original Raw Shea Butter Hair Products line -The original formula for the line helped me in my natural journey - so much money spent :) over the past 3 years, but that original formula was worth the spend :), this new formula, not for me, but I wish you all the best on the journey, but this is where I get off!
