Ok, so I bought a big tub of Peel Away 1 but the paper ran out before the paste so I had to reorder more - there should be plenty of paper in the original box. I also used clingfilm - which was not as good as the peel away paper - but for tricky bits (like small gaps in railings on a bannister) it was slighly more effective. This is very messy work, so I would recommend you buy a steamer and clean as you go along. I am still cleaning up the mess. My other recommendation is to use a small spatula.

Product adequate for purpose, however feel that cost was rather high and could have been substituted by a much cheaper alternative, (eg, cling-film)

Just make sure you don't leave the stuff on too long or it goes rock solid under the blanket!

Works a treat.

I think they used to be made of paper. It was easier to tear it. Now it’s made of a thin plastic and very difficult to cut, even with sharp scissors.
