Must use power cord
I agree that the cord on this is a little bit short but it's workable easily. It does come with a power cable that you must use. It's a switch and you need to plug in the USB power cord to the HDMI section of the cable. A small will appear on the HDMI section of the main cord when it has power. Great cord and most TVs have an USB that you can use next to the HDMIs so that is not really an issue.

Doesn't work at all.
Well, where to begin? Everytime I try and connect it to my tv it doesn't find the signal. I don't know why It needs all the excessive cables. But it just doesn't find a connection to my game old consoles. N64, Gamecube, SNES? Forget it, no connection. Very disappointing. Avoid at all cost

Very short cord
The media could not be loaded. Works like a dream in helping me use my GameCube but the cord is ridiculously short. It has to connect to both the console and a power source, so this is very inconvenient because we have to use an extension cord to power it, and also have to sit close to the TV to be able to use the controllers.

A bit inconvenient to use, but works
It's a bit inconvenient how small the USB-C power cable is, and that it plugs into the HDMI end that plugs into your TV, so the liklihood that you have a USB port right there is slim.. Also, the HDMI end is not hard-wired connected?? There are three different components; the short 6in USB-C power cable, the cable that goes into the back of your gaming console, and the HDMI adapter that plugs into one end of the main cable.. It'd be nice if the HDMI end and the main wire were the non-detachable, especially with the tension caused by the short power cord needing to reach a USB port..
